Fields of Honor on Java in Indonesia
At the initiative of Nathalie Toisuta, one of the two initiators of Field of Honor Full of Life, a Field of Honor Full of Life commemoration took place in Indonesia in 2017. Nathalie Toisuta is herself of Moluccan background and has always wondered why there is no attention on May 4 for the Dutch people killed by war in the former Dutch East Indies? This official commemoration takes place on August 15, but on May 4, the Netherlands pauses to remember all Dutch people killed by war. Therefore, it decided to also create attention to these victims and their relatives during the 2017 Memorial Field of Honor Full of Life. This led to the placement of 7 crosses on National Field of Honor Loenen. Seven crosses symbolizing the 7 fields of honor in Indonesia.

Honorary Cemetery in Bloemendaal
In 2018, the Bloemendaal Honor Cemetery was also involved in Honor Field Full of Life. Only resistance fighters lie in this cemetery. Including Hannie Schaft. Look here for her story.
Ook liggen er veel studenten begraven die in verzet kwamen. Een groot aantal van zijn gefusilleerd in de omringende duinen. Ook voor hen vond een speciale Ereveld Vol Leven herdenking plaats. Drie studenten representeerden leeftijdsgenoten.

German Military Cemetery Ysselsteyn
A special commemoration inspired by Field of Honor Full of Life took place at the German Military Cemetery Ysselsteyn. This is a cemetery in the Netherlands where 32,000 Germans are buried. A conference was held at the end of October 2017 attended by nine War Graves Foundations from different countries that wanted to get an impression of the new memorial form Field of Honor Full of Life. Which is complex because you cannot have a Field of Honor Full of Life commemoration in the cemetery of the perpetrators. So we approached a German High School and asked them for advice. They indicated that they would very much like to work with their students on the proper translation of this commemoration. After all, it is important to respect the commemorations of victims, but also to recognize the generation who have to live with and respond to the actions of their ancestors.

With nearly 32,000 dead, the German military cemetery is the largest military cemetery in the Netherlands. It is also the only German military cemetery in the Netherlands. Mainly German soldiers who died in World War II are buried there. It also contains Dutchmen who died in German military service (especially the SS).
